Skirts Made With Love

One way we honor our elders is with our Shimásání Skirts project, created by our director’s mother, Teresa. She, along with some special volunteers, have put hours into sewing traditional shimásání (grandmother) skirts. To date, they’ve made more than 500 skirts!
